Directions to Meadowbrook Cabin, Hendersonville, NC
If you are using a GPS, don't get confused if it calls the road Franklin St. I don't know why, but some do. It really is Meadowbrook Terrace.
From I40 (East or West)
Take I-40 toward Asheville, NC.
Merge onto I-26 East toward Hendersonville.
(You will pass Exit 33, the Biltmore Square Mall, where Dillard's Outlet
is. It is the Final Clearance Center for the Dillard's Stores.)
Take Exit 44, the US-25 exit, toward Fletcher, Mountain Home
At the end of the Exit Ramp, turn right onto US-25
In exactly 5.4 miles, turn right onto Meadowbrook Terrace.
(You will have just passed the Ingles grocery store on your left.)
The very first house on the left is Meadowbrook Cabin.
There is plenty of parking.
From I26 (South)
Take I-26 W toward Spartanburg SC.
Take Exit 49B, the US-64 exit, toward Hendersonville.
At the end of the Exit Ramp, turn right onto US-64.
You will pass the Blue Ridge Mall on the left.
You will be going to the historic downtown Main Street.
In about 2 miles, turn right onto North Main Street. This will merge
into US-25.
Bank of America is on the corner.
Stay on 25. You will pass a little mini golf and some restaurants.
In exactly 1.3 miles, turn left onto Meadowbrook Terrace.
You will have just passed Papas & Beer, a Mexican Restaurant on your
left. The Ingles grocery store will be just coming up on your right.
The very first house on the left is Meadowbrook Cabin.
There is plenty of parking.
From I26 (North)
Take I-26 E toward Asheville NC.
Go through Asheville. You will see signs for Hendersonville,
NC.
(You will pass the Biltmore Square Mall at Exit 33, where Dillard's Outlet
is. It is the Final Clearance Center for the Dillard's Stores.)
Take Exit 44, the US-25 exit, toward Fletcher, Mountain Home
At the end of the Exit Ramp, turn right onto US-25
In exactly 5.4 miles, turn right onto Meadowbrook Terrace.
(You will have just passed the Ingles grocery store on your left.)
The very first house on the left is Meadowbrook Cabin.
From I-85 (Atlanta, GA)
Take I-85 toward Greenville, SC.
(You can just stay on I-85 until it
reaches I-26, then follow the directions above from I-26. The directions
below take about half an hour or so off the trip.)
In about 136 miles (from Atlanta), take Exit 42, I-185 N/US-29 N toward Greenville, SC.
In 1.5 miles, take Exit 15 toward Travelers Rest.
Almost immediately go left on White Horse Road, which is US-25.
Just stay on US-25 for about 38 miles. You will cross over into North Carolina.
You have two choices now.
If you get car sick, you can stay straight on the Truck Route US-25, which will take you to I-26. Then just follow the directions above from I26 (South). This is probably the fastest route, but isn't as scenic.
If you do not get car sick and want to take the shorter scenic route, take Exit 5. This is Old US-25. This goes through Flat Rock, Zirconia and Tuxedo. Stay on Old US-25 for 8 miles.
You will go through Hendersonville. You will pass a little mini golf and some restaurants.
Look for Papas & Beer on your left. Just past it, turn left on
Meadowbrook Terrace.
The Ingles grocery store will be just coming up on your right.
The very first house on the left is Meadowbrook Cabin.
There is plenty of parking.
From Asheville Regional Airport
Make a left out of the Airport parking lot on New Airport Road/ NC-280.
Take the first entrance, on the right to I-26 East
You will be on 26 for three miles. Then take Exit 44, the US-25 exit, toward Fletcher, Mountain Home
At the end of the Exit Ramp, turn right onto US-25
You will be on US-25 for about 5 miles. As soon as you enter Hendersonville City Limits, you will see Ingles on the left.
Turn right onto Meadowbrook Terrace.
The very first house on the left is Meadowbrook Cabin.
