Location: Hendersonville, Smoky Mountains, North Carolina, USA (15 Minutes from Asheville Airport; Near Biltmore Estate) The cabin is in Hendersonville near Flat Rock, Laurel Park, Mills River, Fletcher, Etowah, Horse Shoe, Tuxedo, Zirconia, Bat Cave and Gerton. Further away, but also close to Asheville, Lake Lure and Brevard.
Accommodations: Log Cabin, rustic but still warm and comfortable with
new energy efficient insulated windows, new central heat pump and two
gas log fires

I know you will enjoy your vacation in our log cabin as much as we do. This log cabin is set back on a paved road in historic Druid Hills, a very walkable neighborhood of Hendersonville. Walk to restaurants, shopping, the bus, groceries, car rental and Patton Park, Hendersonville's largest park. Located on 19 acres, Patton Park has baseball fields, basketball courts, racquetball courts, tennis courts, picnic pavilions, playground, dog-friendly walking trail, and an Olympic-size swimming pool. Barbecue on our spacious porch with 4 Amish Hickory rockers, a glider, a swing and plenty of tables. Move into the living room to relax on the leather sofa or one of the Lazy-Boy Recliners in front of the fire or the large television. The kids can play upstairs or in the private yard. The master bedroom even has a small fire place for romantic evenings. (Don't worry, there is central heat and central air conditioning.) There are lots of family-friendly DVDs and videos and plenty of toys and games for inside or outside. The half-acre yard has a small brook and room for croquet, horseshoes, badminton or bocci.
We
have DIRECTV Satellite in both bedrooms and the living room and DSL Wireless
Internet.
The kitchen has everything you need, stove, microwave, dishwasher, Mini Kitchenaid Mixer, Blender, Food Processor, even 2 coffee makers for caf & decaf. Enjoy gourmet cooking or send out for pizza, Chinese or Japanese. Everybody delivers to here.
